Splatoon fanart: Just playing

**EDIT: Over sharpened effect on picture at full zoom fixed, now everything looks buttery smooth.**

  It was the festival of the great battle between the satisfying Burger and the delightful Pizza, there were many stalls selling all sorts of burgers and pizza's, even though there were still some traditional stalls as well that sold sushi and ramen dotted around the place. The pair of inklings strolled though the open air festival grounds, their wooden slippers tapping against the stone pavement as they explored the place to their little heart's content. Many such food the inklings tried there, some more traditional while others more bizarre such as a dessert pizza. They were having a wonderful time together and the hours passed and soon it was very late into the night when, they suddenly remembered that the last train had left half an hour ago. As a result of that she offered her place for him to stay the night, just like how he did the same for her last time: (Splatoon Fanart: Play?) He was delighted and relived, suddenly missing the train wasn't such a bad thing anymore, "more time to spend with her!" he thought. Pretty sure she doesn't mind too, her face showing an ever slight redness as she asked him over. 

      They left the cheery festival grounds and traversed though some quiet passages till they eventually reach her room, they enter and shut the door behind and decide to spend some time playing on the console together. After washing up they sat opposite the screen on her bed all nicely wrapped up in a blanket along with a few pillows. They took turns to play the video game. While waiting for his turn he got a little bored and had an idea, he grinned as he grabbed one of her hair tentacles to snuggle against his cheeks the warm and soft texture of her tentacle. She was caught by surprise and looked back at him, clearly distracted from her game and within a moment or two the screen flashes "game over!" Not that she really minds as her cheeks grow ever more red when she gazes back at his half buried face. In response he playfully stated back to her "Just playing :3"

Took about 50-60 hours to do on Paint Tool SAI, used a Wacom Intuos Pen Small.

Lighting and colour was sooo tricky on this one but it was a great learning experience^^ There is actually quite a lot more to the image but to get a good composition I had to crop out quite a lot at the sides
